The Electronic City Elevated Expressway, about 10 km from Silk Board to Electronic City, opened on 22 January 2010. It reached the end of its concession period on 10 September 2026 and is being handed to NHAI, and toll arrangements are under review (as at 24 September 2026). NICE Road links Electronic City to Mysuru Road and Tumakuru Road; its toll arrangements drew court and political attention in July and August 2026, so confirm the current position before planning a daily route.
Kempegowda International Airport is about 55 km by road, and no direct rail or metro link exists today. The Namma Metro Blue Line to the airport starts at Central Silk Board and is under construction, with its full line targeted for March 2028. A rider from Electronic City would change from the Yellow Line at Silk Board.
